She Sells Sea Shells by Nevels Nevels

Given a photo of a chambered nautilus shell, students will sample points along the shell’s spiral. Using their knowledge of converting rectangular points into polar coordinates, students will create a model of the spiral using an exponential regression.

    Lesson Objectives:
