Visualizing Distributions with the fx-CG50

Come see the NEW Distribution Add-In Icon on Casio's graphing calculators. We will show how notation, interactive graphs and statistical distribution can be manipulated to help students learn the proper statistical notation and not just calculator speak. See how you can strengthen the connections between what we teach and what students will see in real-world statistics.

All webinars are recorded and available for on-demand viewing, but if you attend a live session, a Certificate of Attendance is available upon request.

It's All Right - Looking at Applications of Pythagorean Theorem with ClassPad.net

How can technology help students visualize and apply their understanding of right triangles? We will look at two different problem-solving challenges from NCTM's Problem-of-the Week Resources and show you how you can use ClassPad.nets dynamic geometry tool to visualize, manipulate and analyze relationships. We will explore using images, constructing right triangles, measuring sides and angles and dynamically comparing triangles and area and collecting data. We will use multiple problem-solving strategies as we explore ways to help students apply the Pythagorean Theorem, and explore area relationships of both triangles and circles.

ClassPad.net is a free dynamic math tool that supports teachers and students in whatever math content is being taught/learned.

All webinars are recorded and available for on-demand viewing, but if you attend a live session, a Certificate of Attendance is available upon request.
