The Casio Education Calculator Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) and Casio Education Calculator Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) (together, the “Promotions”) sponsored by Casio America, Inc. “Casio” or “Sponsor”) are two distinct promotions starting on January 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”).  While the Sweepstakes entry period closes on July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the Giveaway period extends further into the 2026-2027 school year and Casio will continue to gift eligible teachers qualifying calculators if properly submitted through September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. A Sweepstakes entry automatically qualifies an eligible teacher for a free calculator as part of the Giveaway.

 

Please read these Official Rules carefully as they contain important information about how the Promotions will be conducted, and important details about your rights, including a class action waiver, jury waiver, and arbitration agreement.

 

All eligible teachers who include a qualifying Casio calculator model on their recommended school supply list for the 2026-2027 school year and submit proof of same to Casio during the applicable Giveaway promotion period will receive one free model of the calculator on their recommended supply list.

 

All eligible teachers who include a qualifying Casio calculator model on their recommended school supply list for the 2026-2027 school year and submit proof of same to Casio during the applicable Sweepstakes period will receive one free model of the calculator on the recommended supply list pursuant to the Giveaway and will also be eligible to be one of five (5) schools drawn to win a class set of 40 calculators of the model on the respective recommended supply lists.

Eligibility: Open only to math teachers aged 21 and older and schools located within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. To be eligible for the Sweepstakes class set drawing, a copy of the recommended supply list including an eligible Casio calculator must be submitted to mathed@casio.com between January 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Limit 1 entry per teacher. Only math teachers are eligible. Employees of Casio America, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

 

Entry Period: Sweepstakes entry period begins January 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Giveaway entry period begins January 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Sponsor's clock shall be the official timekeeper for the Promotions.

 

How to Enter:

 

• To obtain a free calculator in the Giveaway, submit an email during the Giveaway entry period to mathed@casio.com with the subject line "Casio Calculator Promotion" and include in the body of your email your full name, email address, phone number, city and state of residence, school name, school address, and a copy of your recommended school supply list showing the qualifying Casio calculator model.

 

• To enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to win a class set of 40 calculators, submit the email during the shortened Sweepstakes entry period to mathed@casio.com with the subject line "Casio Calculator Promotion" and include in the body of your email your full name, email address, phone number, city and state of residence, school name, school address, and a copy of your recommended school supply list showing the qualifying Casio calculator model.

 

The following models are the qualifying Casio calculator models: [fx-55+, fx-260 Solar II, fx-300MS Plus 2nd Edition, fx-300ES Plus 2nd Edition fx-115ES Plus 2nd Edition, fx-9910CW ClassWiz ].

 

Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, missing, illegible, damaged, garbled, or incomplete submissions. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Submissions must be received during the applicable entry period as defined above. Submissions must list one (1) qualifying Casio calculator model. Submissions which include only non-qualifying calculator models are void.

 

Limit one (1) submission per teacher. Limit one (1) email account per person and one (1) phone number per person. Submissions received from any person, household, or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Submissions generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. By submitting, you agree to allow Casio to contact you by email or phone call regarding this Promotion.

 

How to Win: Class set winners will be drawn on or about August 7, 2026, from among all eligible entries received. LIMIT ONE WINNING ENTRY PER SCHOOL. Only one teacher at any given school may be drawn as a winner of the class set of calculators in the Sweepstakes. Once a teacher's submission is drawn, all other submissions from the same school become ineligible entries in the Sweepstakes thereafter. For avoidance of doubt, all submitting teachers are eligible to obtain the one free calculator in the Giveaway regardless of Sweepstakes results. A total of five (5) winners for class sets of the calculators on their respective submitted recommended supply lists will win. A submission only qualifies if it includes a qualifying Casio calculator model: [fx-55+, fx-260 Solar II, fx-300MS Plus 2nd Edition, fx-300ES Plus 2nd Edition fx-115ES Plus 2nd Edition, fx-9910CW ClassWiz]. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

 

Prize: For the Sweepstakes, each of the five (5) winning submitting teachers will receive a class set of forty (40) calculators each (total of 200 calculators awarded in the Sweepstakes), which shall be of the same qualifying model as that listed on each of the winning submission's respective recommended supply lists. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $4,600. Sponsor will endeavor to fulfill Sweepstakes winner prizes by August 31, 2026.

 

Calculators gifted in the Giveaway will be of the same qualifying model as that listed on the submitted recommended supply list. Qualifying teachers will begin to receive applicable Giveaway calculators on a rolling basis in April 2026. As part of the Giveaway, Casio will give additional calculators of the same model for use by the submitting teacher's same-school colleagues who teach the same grade level math class as that of the submitting teacher upon written request of a submitting teacher or school providing the names of such other same-school teachers, provided that those teachers did not independently submit and qualify for the Promotions.  

 

Submissions which include a non-qualifying calculator model are void. It shall be solely within Casio's discretion to gift a Casio calculator to a teacher who submits an otherwise ineligible, unqualifying submission.

 

Odds: Odds of Sweepstakes depends on number of eligible entries received.

 

Prize Fulfillment: Sponsor will endeavor to fulfill Sweepstakes winner prizes by August 31, 2026. Sponsor will begin fulfilling Giveaway calculators on a rolling basis beginning in April 2026. Calculators fulfilled in the Giveaway will be shipped to respective submitting teachers by USPS or private carrier service at Sponsor's sole discretion to the address of the school identified in the submission, to the attention of the submitting teacher.

 

Sweepstakes Winner Notification: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this promotion. Sweepstakes potential winner will be notified via phone call or email and must respond and agree to the prize opportunity within 48 hours of initial notification and in the manner specified upon notification. Potential Sweepstakes winner may subsequently be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law) and any other documents required by Sponsor, which must be returned by the date appearing on such documentation or as otherwise required by Sponsor. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute consent for certain relevant identifying information to be included in the winner's list. Prizes will be shipped to respective winners by USPS or private carrier service at Sponsor's sole discretion to the address of the school identified in the submission, to the attention of the submitting teacher. Winners will be required to provide or otherwise confirm the mailing address in order to obtain their prize. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable, failure to respond to Sponsor’s phone and/or email notification within 48 hours of initial notification or failure to sign and return requested documentation within the specified time period, the inability of Sponsor to contact the potential winner within a reasonable time period, or noncompliance with these Official Rules by the potential winner may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, prize may be awarded to an alternate. In the event Sponsor is unable to contact or otherwise reach or communicate with a potential winner, Sponsor may at its sole discretion attempt to  draw from among all remaining, eligible and qualifying entries a new winner, but shall not be required to do so.

 

Prize Conditions: Prize recipients may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with one of comparable or greater value not to exceed $23 per calculator. Recipient is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No cash equivalent for prize.

 

General Conditions: By participating, each of the submitting teachers on their behalf and on behalf of the school associated with their submissions agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Promotion; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Casio Education, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Promotions or any Promotion-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of their name, voice, performance, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use. By participating, entrant also agrees not to release any publicity or other materials on their own or through someone else regarding their participation in the Promotions without the prior consent of the Sponsor, which it may withhold in its sole discretion. In addition, entrant agrees to receive by email promotional and/or other communications from Sponsor, Casio Education, and/or affiliated entities unless and until entrant chooses to unsubscribe from email communications. Unsubscribing may cause entrant to forfeit prize if their entry is selected and Sponsor is not able to contact winner.

 

Miscellaneous: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of submissions, or in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotions or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotions or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated submissions will be void. Should any portion of the Promotions be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotions (or portion thereof) and, if Sweepstakes is terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTIONS MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

 

Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Promotion, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action in any way relating to or arising out of or connected with this Promotion, any prize awarded, or any text messages received from Casio, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office in or nearest to Rockaway, New Jersey; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Entrant acknowledges and agrees hereunder to waive trial by jury. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Promotion), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

 

Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.

 

Winners List: To request a list of the five (5) winners (first name, last initial of teacher and school name and city/state), send a request no later than ninety (90) days after the close of the Sweepstakes period in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Casio Education Calculator Promotion Sweepstakes Winners List, c/o Casio America, Inc., 570 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Dover, NJ 07801.
