Graphing and Tabbing - Casio’s Newest Full Graphing Calculator!

In my last post, I introduced the newest graphing calculator from Casio, the fx-CG100. As I mentioned and showed in the accompanying videos, this is a new experience for Casio users, since this calculator uses a tab approach (much like windows on a browser), versus the traditional function keys on our other graphing calculators.

I am going to continue to share some how-to’s for this newest grapher to help get you started. In this post I am going to focus on the graphing menu a bit, demonstrating how to graph different types of functions and use the tabs to see the graphs and tables.

Don’t forget, you can play along with the videos to learn yourself using the free online emulator

For this post, I made two basic graphing menu how-to’s to help get you started.

I will continue to explore the fx-CG100 for a couple more posts, so keep an eye out!

And, for those of you wanting to explore more on your own, be sure to visit the fx-CG100 information page on Casio’s Education page, where you’ll find more information and downloadable manuals and guides.  I included the Calculator Smart Card here, which is a great little reference sheet to help you get started.

I found the detailed explanation of the tab approach on the Casio fx-CG100 fascinating. The idea of using tabs for graphing functions is innovative and user-friendly. Can't wait to explore more features! By the way, have you ever tried playing Snake Game
